In order to have an open-air writing project during the Covid pandemic, throughout 2021 I am Poet in Residence at the Hillside Avenue allotment site in Thorpe St Andrew, Norwich.
With the support of the Town Council, I am visiting the site frequently, keeping an Allotment Diary and writing poems relating to allotments, gardening, produce, and family.
This project formed the basis of my work during my Hawthornden Fellowship in 2021.
The ‘Allotment Poems’ are starting to be published.

I have also been involved in a collaborative writing project, Poets as Gardeners, and an anthology of work, CROSS POLLINATION, is in preparation for publication in 2027.
