In order to have an open-air writing project during the Covid pandemic, throughout 2021 I am Poet in Residence at the Hillside Avenue allotment site in Thorpe St Andrew, Norwich.
With the support of the Town Council, I am visiting the site frequently, keeping an Allotment Diary and writing poems relating to allotments, gardening, produce, and family.
This project will form the basis of my work during my period as a Hawthornden Fellow later in 2021 or 2022.
